Tomorrow is Jeans for Genes Day (August 3rd) and Australian Designers Gary Bigeni, Kirrily Johnston and Rebecca Vallance have designed exclusive t-shirts and joined forces with MYCATWALK.COM to raise funds for the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI), a pioneer in the field of paediatric medical research.
The Jeans for Genes Designer t-shirts are available exclusively for the month of August, or until stocks last for just RRP$29.95. The designers shared their excitement at being part of the campaign:
“As a child it made me happy to get involved with Jeans for Genes day and I’m proud that now I can show my support to CMRI in a bigger way, and be able to bring that same happiness to people through my t-shirt design – polka dots always guarantee a smile.” - Gary Bigeni
“It is important as a designer to use your voice for bigger causes. Jeans for Genes is the promise of a future to so many families and I am very proud to be a part of it. I used my signature print from my Spring/Summer 2012/13 collection that showed at Australian Fashion Week because it’s bright, colourful and uplifting. It is a fashionable reminder of a very worthy cause” – Kirrily Johnston
“I’m really looking forward to taking apart in Jeans for Genes Day 2012. It’s such a great cause, with the much-needed proceeds going to the Children’s Medical Research Institute. For my t-shirt design I turned my Spring/Summer 2012/13 signature floral print blue – perfect for pairing with your jeans!”- Rebecca Vallance
Available now exclusively at MYCATWALK.COM with every dollar raised for Jeans for Genes Day you’re helping bring tomorrow’s treatments and cures closer – so get your jeans on and get shopping!
