A Few Favourite Things from Napoleon’s Newest Releases

The King of Makeup Napoleon Perdis has released a stack of new products over the last couple of months so we’ve done a round up of a few of our favourite Napoleon things!

Napoleon Perdis’s latest promise is a big one: universally flattering, fix all, one shade concealer touted as “The One”. Coming in such a tiny pot, it seems like it could hardly live up to its hype.  However, the formula is thick and creamy and instantly provides an even coverage for the stubbornest of skin blips. It did take a fair bit of persistent blending to get the peach shade to settle into my skin tone but once it was layered beneath my foundation, it was the perfect concealer for anything. Available now: RRP$36

Napoleon has also taken his brand in a new direction with the release of the Nude Bar range. Vintage inspired palettes, a range of new lip colours and an amazing new tinted moisturiser are all included in his latest collection. It’s all about the nude and we love the Off Duty Tinted Moisturiser (RRP$48).  I’ll admit I always fall for pretty packaging, and the flashy swirls on this bottle are no exception. Even better, the product itself is lovely. It is a lightweight tinted moisturiser that hydrates the skin with gingko biloba, ginseng and green tea extracts, while providing a nice coverage still light enough for a natural look. While it comes out of the bottle a little oily, it blends into the skin, leaving it super soft and dewy. Available in two shades: Light to Medium and Medium To Dark.

The Double Agent Nude Lip Palette (RRP$33) is inspired by the vintage pin-up girls with matte lips, this palette gives the perfect nude lip that won’t wash you out. The palette holds both a Vitamin E enriched lipstick and an accompanying pressed powder. Once I got the hang of the application, because applying powder to my lips was a strange concept, I was thrilled with the result. Not too powdery and not too pale, it gave me a lovely matte lip that lasted for hours. The palette is double duty as Napoleon recommends using the cream lipstick a nude blush for contouring. Available now.

Another addition to Napoleon’s collections have been the Winter Skincare Range. This includes the Rewind + Replenish Facial Serum (RRP$33) and the Brightening Pre-Foundation Primer (RRP$33). Both  lightweight and soft, Napoleon recommends incorporating them into your winter skin care routine to bring back your summer glow.

All these products are available now at Napoleon Perdis Concept Stores, David Jones and salons and pharmacies throughout Australia.
