Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette is a reinvention of the original, classic perfume released in 2011 (read about it here). We love both of these scents, but the new scent is lighter and fresher – perfect for summer.
“Elie Saab dreams to enhance the beauty of women, he has always admired femininity and has designed fashion ranges expressing sensuality and beauty.”
The original scent was delightful and the reinterpretation remains close to its roots. Drawing inspiration from his childhood in a Mediterranean city for inspiration, Elie Saab recounts the ethereal scent of the orange blossoms from the trees near his childhood home. This mingles with the subtle scent of honey rose, creating an intoxicatingly addictive base.
The new Eau de Toilette enhances the scent, translating the duality of the vibrant Middle East to the modernity of the West. It takes on a fresher edge with notes of mandarin tree blossom, sensuous gardenia and vetiver act to make the scent sparkle like sequins on one of Saab’s couture gowns. Each note is very carefully chosen to give this new fragrance a life of its own celebrating free spiritedness and spontaneity.
These additions make the perfume entirely different to its predecessor. It is so fresh, airy and vibrant, perfect for the endless summer days ahead and yet another addictive scent from our favourite fashion designer.
