A Summer Salad Round Up of Some Goodies We Love from Yes To … Carrots, Tomatoes, Blueberries & Cucumbers
We love knowing exactly what we’re putting on our skin and we like to make sure it’s always natural. Yes To have a wide range of products that combines the fresh, glowing goodness of organic fruits and vegetables with minerals harvested from the Dead Sea that purify and moisturise your skin and we’ve got a round up of some of our favourites.
The Yes To Carrots Shampoo and Conditioner (RRP $9.95 each) is perfect for nourishing normal to dry hair. It promises to be 99.4% free using organic carrots to boost your hair with the goodness of Beta-Carotene. We love that it is naturally paraben and petroleum free, so you can rest assured that you are taking the very best care of your hair. It only has a light smell, a little like baby powder, but it is strong enough to linger in your hair for a day after you wash it. Our hair was left light, clean and hydrated. The conditioner smells exactly the same as the conditioner. It’s a lovely day-to-day conditioner – not so heavy as to weigh your hair down, but moisturising enough for daily use.
The Yes To Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub uses the salicylic acid that occurs naturally in tomatoes to send blackheads packing. The product also blends bisabolol and ginger root extracts to reduce redness and irritation fast. The only drawback is that it smells exactly like raw tomatoes. We love that the exfoliating grains are made from ground bamboo. Lovely, natural and gentle enough to use every day.
Yes To Blueberries Brightening Facial Towelettes (RRP $9.95) smell so good. Sweet and girly, they’re wonderful for taking your makeup off at the end of the long day. The wipes use the goodness of blueberries and natural fruit acides to improve the texture and firmness of your skin. After using it, our skin was soft, clean and hydrated. A perfect bedside staple for those lazy nights when you can’t be bothered to do the full cleanse before bed – we don’t recommend as a daily habit, just a lazy habit okay!
The Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel takes the de-puffing powers of cucumber slices and bottles it. Packed with Vitamins A and C as well as soothing Aloe Vera and Green Tea extract. The gel is clear and lightweight and freshens up your eyes instantly. You have to apply with a light touch, otherwise it becomes quite sticky. Handy hint: Pop it in the fridge, the cool gel will give your poor tired peepers a refreshing boost!
Yes To Cucumbers Cleansing Cucumber Shower Gel (RRP$12.95 500mL) contains dead sea mud and minerals that provide a deep cleanse while exfoliating. Antioxidants in the formula help to clear out any cucumber free radicals, while aloe vera helps to smooth and nourish skin. And the Yes To Tomatoes Terrifc Day Shower Gel (RRP$12.95 500mL) is packed with organic fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes and watermelon, both sources of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and rosemary, a natural antioxidant. We loved these shower gels, both of them were an incredibly refreshing way to start the day, we particularly love the 500mL bottles what was a bit annoying was the outlet at the top, it was a bit small so you had to squeeze hard and long to get the product out.
And, finally new to the market Yes to Carrots Colour Lip Balms (RRP $5.95). These new lip moisturisers are available in three subtle shades; Soft Plum, Rosy Bloom and Peachy Keen. We love that they’re 99% natural and totally free of parabens and other nasties. The Colour Balms are enriched with a blend of natural and healthy ingredients (of course) including cocoa butter that helps retain moisture alongside Sunflower Seed and Jojoba Seed Oil who keep your lips soft and shiny.
The complete Yes To range includes; Yes to Carrots (nourishing), Yes to Cucumbers (soothing), Yes to Tomatoes (clear skin), Yes to Blueberries (age refresh), Yes to Baby Carrots, and Yes to Lip Care.
