Oscar de la Renta is launching a third women’s fragrance “Something Blue” inspired by matrimony and Calvin Klein’s “Eternity” fragrance and life beyond bridal. De la Renta shared with WWD:
“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.”
The fragrance was formulated by perfumer Frank Völkl of Firmenich with Ann Gottlieb and features notes of white floral that opens with a sparkly, fresh start of linden blossom and mandarin, the heart is stephanotis with the flowers picked from de la Renta’s home garden in Punta Cana.
The campaign was photographed by Craig McDean and features the tagline “From this day forward” and the bottle itself features a lovely blue cap on the top of the bottle inspired by a stone called Larimar, found inthe Dominican Republic, de la Renta’s home.
