L’Oreal Paris have just released a bunch of new products and we are sharing with you our favourites from the line up, they’ve got your lips, face and nails all covered. First up more BB Creams and new to Australia CC Creams, yep CC Creams!
Like us you love BB creams – light on your skin, natural looking and effortless, well the ante has been stepped up, and it’s time for BB Creams to step aside because a new generation is on their way, with the introduction of Australia’s first CC Cream.
What? You’ve just wrapped your head around BB Creams and now they’re introducing CC Creams? Surely by now they’re just making up words to confuse you. But no, CC Creams are a generation of smart hybrid beauty products for even the most troublesome skin. CC Creams or Colour Correct Creams are an all in one to counteract redness and give you a flawless finish.
The L’Oreal Paris Anti-Redness CC Cream (RRP $26.95) is so cool. It comes out a strange mint green colour, but don’t be alarmed – that’ll be what helps to balance out the redness. As you blend the cream into your skin, it adapts to your skin tone, leaving you looking bright and healthy. The coverage is quite light, so girls with problem skin may want to add a touch of concealer, or layer the product on your skin, but the silky soft finish is well and truly worth it. The best part is its super hydrating for your skin too – with added Vitamin B5 and E to deeply moisturise your skin as well as a light SPF to protect your skin from any further damage.
Also new to L’Oreal is the Nude Magique BB Blush (RRP $22.95). We’re really excited about this one. Perfect to layer over your favourite BB or CC cream, the product comes out as a soft, transparent pink gel. When it comes into contact with your skin, the colour deepens into a pretty rosy pink, adjusting to your skin’s PH levels to give you a fantastic, natural-looking flush. The gel has a soft and glowy finish that goes perfectly with the all-natural look, and it makes your skin so soft.
Finally if you love your BB Creams but you’re just not getting the right coverage, the Nude Magique BB Powder (RRP $26.95) is a light and silky pressed powder which adapts to the individual skin tone. It’s light weight and perfect for layering to create a buildable coverage. It gives the ultimate matte finish, which is perfect for appearing in photos or for busy girls on the run.
Now that you’ve got your skin all glowing and bright, it’s time to inject a little bit of colour. L’Oreal have also released a whole host of exciting, colourful products to beat those cold weather blues.
First there’s the Shine Caresse Lip Colour (RRP $23.95), a new range perfect for girls on the go. The Shine Caresse range combines the texture and shine of a regular lip gloss, while maintaining the functionality of a long-wear lip stain. The formula uses a unique blend – 30% water, 60% oil to create a product that hydrates the lips while giving a dose of lightweight, natural colour. The quirky looking foam applicator is designed to remove excess colour as you apply it – we actually found it to do the opposite, so you’ll have to apply with a gentle hand, or risk having goopy, sticky lips. That being said, the colours are gorgeous and they do last on your lips – we especially love Romy, a natural, earthy red and Juliet, a sparky and vivacious fuschia.
If you’re loving your new colours, why not take it down to your nails – L’Oreal have also just released the Colour Riche Le Vernis Collection for Autumn. The range contains five fantastically on-trend shades so that you can match your manicure to your every mood. The colours use a formula packed with rich, concentrated pigments and an in-built top coat, all combined into a liquid gel base. This means that the polishes glide onto the nail smoothly to ensure a streak-free and even application. From the collection we especially loved the shades So Chic Fox (the rusty, earthy brown is so unusual, you’ll be receiving all kinds of compliments) and Soft Chinchilla, an on trend, soft cool grey. RRP $6.95.
The new products are available from selected pharmacies, department stores and supermarkets now, for more you can visit L’Oreal’s website: www.loreal.com.au.
