We check out L’Oreal’s latest releases, the Revitalift Magic Blur Instant Skin Smoother and their Summer 2014 Cosmetics Collection which will have you clamoring for some glossy colour fun to add to your make up drawer!
First up L’Oreal’s Revitalift Magic Blur (RRP$29.95) is an instant skin smoother helping to blur the appearance of lines, pores and wrinkles. Not a moisturiser and more than a primer embedded with light reflecting silicon elastomers the blend slips over the skin easily leaving a reasonably lightweight but smooth, velvety matte finish for such a thick consistency for a primer. Obviously being a primer and all, you apply it to your face before make up!
Next we have the L’Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation (RRP$24.95), joining the Nude Magique family, designed to create the perfect nude look with it’s natural finish and I have to admit I am in love! The new product uses a new formulation that combines 85% vanishing essence (whatever that means) and light oils to create a weightless and light foundation. Inspired by the traditional perfume application technique, a few drops on your finger blend effortlessly over your face giving you a really light and velvety texture. I love it because it is so light and does give that flawless nude look without being heavy especially seeing as I’m not really a thick foundation type of gal! Available in six shades; 120 Pure Ivory, 140 Pure Beige, 150 Nude Beige, 170 Natural, 190 Rose Beige and 220 Golden Sable.
Next we have the L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Crayon De Couleur (RRP$16.95), an eyeshadow and liner in one! This clever little 2 in 1 crayon (love crayons) can be used as an eye shadow and eyeliner. This soft creamy formula glides on easily with a strong concentration of pigments for a rich colour application that’s also easy to blend for a softer look. Available in seven gorgeous shades; 02 Enigmatic Brown, 03 Smoky Taupe, 06 Delicate Champagne, 09 Charming White, 10 Sugar Vanilla, 11 Lovely Lilas and 12 Ocean Blue.
L’Oreal’s No 1 popular lipstick Colour Riche has gone matte, with the launch of their Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipstick Range (RRP$21.95). The new formula combines velvet matte gel technology with deep pigments and jojoba oil hels keep lips hydrated and moisturised – very important, I don’t like dry lips! The lipstick glides on beautifully and just stays on the lips without moving. And the exciting business is it stays hydrated, not as hydrated as gloss but hydrated nevertheless. These are a definite winner and a must purchase from this collection.
