I’m such a fan of Forever 21’s campaign images, they just nail it every time, they know and get their audience, a bit like Sportsgirl to be honest!  Although Forever 21 does do lots of knock-offs, seriously who isn’t these days?

The latest campaign images for their Heritage 1981 collection are totally effortless summer style—for me it’s reminiscent of growing up in the suburbs in the 80’s but there’s just a touch more attitude!  And pink flamingos, so Miami!  Mix florals and retro graphics with a romper and a cropped tank, very easy going 80s-inspired streetwear.

The LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls Spring 2010 Lookbook is out and of course it features reality star turned author, turned fashion designer Lauren Conrad.  Lauren bills her line as chic Californian style!

I’m sure the motorcycle jacket (US$72) is going to be a popular piece but I really love the ruffled belted dress (US$60), the elastic band ruffle mini skirt (US$44), this tiered cami (US$34) … there’s lots of pieces I like actually, they are great cheap additions to the wardrobe, it’s the classic US style that I’m a big fan on, boring I know!  I told you I was an American in another life!

What I have to give kudos to these girls, Avril Lavigne included, is that they create lines at mass market department stores, the lines are simple chic but cheap and that’s sensible and smart.  What’s the point of creating a high-end line when their audience is the mass market and can’t afford it?  And right now, Kohls have a 30-40% off sale on her collection but sadly they don’t ship to Australia but you can use a mail forwarder!

Jennifer Aniston graces the cover of our Madison magazine’s April 2010 issue and she looks fantastic in white.  Photographed by Alexei Hay and six pages of editorial on her inside, it’s a bonza Jen Aniston issue!  Nicholas Fonseca gives us a synopsis on her life accompanied by a very glamboyant black & white pictorial, Jen is definitely someone we are intrigued by and I think we all just love and wish that everyone would leave her past alone and let her just be as she is now.  Gorgeous, single/dating someone, fit, healthy, down to earth and no scandals in sight!  Surely she’s Hollywood’s sanest star!

Remember 30 days of fashion & beauty?  Well new to the scene is 30 days of home & entertaining and I think it looks like an awesome idea, and something different for us to experience.  I really love the Sheridan sponsored pictorials at the end of the magazine which you can see some of them on the new website, there’s a bit of fun & girlie going on there!  It starts 1st April!

I’ve yet to decide if I’m a full-on Olivia Wilde fan yet, she is growing on me definitely but her character annoyed me in HOUSE and although I’ve recently tuned back in (thankful that it’s a much better season) and Olivia, who played Dr. Remy Hadley, nicknamed Thirteen, is no longer in the series.

But I do love this fashion pictorial of Olivia for Elle USA’s March 2010 photographed by Dusan Reljin and styled by Benjamin Sturgill.  It’s very Hollywood, of course, and she’s posing very seductively in lingerie … she is married to filmmaker Tao Ruspoli.

Claire Danes, is on the cover and inside Vs Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2010 issue, photographed by David Vasiljevic (so many niche magazines these days, it’s awesome).

Claire Danes is an honorary Aussie, she was with Ben Lee for six years and when they were in Australia they lived a quiet life down in Bondi, it’s also gonice to post on different celebs rather than the same ol’ same ol!  Claire reminds me of Anna Paquin, grown up all of a sudden, I still picture her as a 20 year old but she’s 30 now and married to Hugh Dancy!

Inside Claire shares:

On what she looks for in a project: “I think it is really clear when a script is good and you can determine that by just reading the first 15 pages. I look for something that is imaginative and truthful; a coherent and engaging story and a character that undergoes a transformation no matter how modest.”

On My So Called Life and the attention it still gets:“It is not something I am remotely ashamed of – quite the opposite. I feel really lucky to have been part of something that continues to resonate so many years after.”

You know I’m a big Leighton Meester fan and here she is on the cover and inside UK InStyle magazine’s March 2010 issue.  Now the cover is not as dramatic and glamboyant as her recent US Glamour cover, but it’s Leighton and she looks very feminine and pretty in this pastel inspired fashion pictorial for InStyle photographed by Matt Jones and styled by Meg Ottenberg.  I do love the dress she’s wearing on the cover!

Inside Leighton lifts the lid on how she ended up relocating from her hometown of Georgia to Manhattan at the age of 11. ‘It was crazy. I’ll never forget it.’ And though NYC didn’t turn out to be quite the place she’d imagined ‘We went to an apartment of my mom’s siter’s friend… It was nice, but there were mice and cockroaches..’ Still, it didn’t stop her making Manhattan her home.

Talking about Blair, she recognises she’s a little, well, feisty. ‘She can be very aggressive… What she hates in herself are her insecurities, and what I can relate to is the pain she must go through. Everyone has insecurities.’

And notes their differences when it comes to fashion; ’she has expensive tastes and I do too, but I’m not snobby,’ she says. ‘ Sometimes I feel like going all out – I’ll wear a gown – and sometimes I’ll wear jeans.’

Clearly Lindsay Lohan has been given the boot by Fornarina and has been replaced by Ana Beatriz Barros for their Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign and lookbook.  I loved Ana in Accessorize’s 2009 ad campaign, it was such a pretty campaign!  Fornarina is a funny brand, I don’t think they have really found what they stand for, just what they ideally want to be, but they do have some pretty pieces in their collection that are for the everyday high-street girl!

As usual, Fornarina have a cheesy commercial but it’s not as bad as the Lindsay Lohan one last year which made me giggle no end:
