It’s Fashion City Central down in Melbourne right now, L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival is on and Aussie photographer Brett Robson is in the thick of it and I have the photographs of Jen Hawkins strutting her stuff at the Myer 2010 Autumn/Winter fashion show.

The Sidney Myer Music bowl in Melbourne was transformed in to a connoisseur of life, lights, music and fashion with music including the likes of Steve Clisby and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Jen’s outfits included:  The toga-like molten-bronze outfit by Toni Maticevski; the blue floor length gown was by Matthew Eager, Jen’s eye catching red dress was designed by Charlie Brown; the black top & sexy pants designed by Bettina Liano (thanks Melissa H) and the highlight being the Manning Cartell number matched with eye catching thigh high boots!

The Myer Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection launch included latest collections from designers such as:  Arabella Ramsay, Aurelio Costarella, Bettina Liano, Ben Sherman, Charlie Brown, Dom Bagnato, Fernando Frisoni, Hugo Boss, Jayson Brunsdon, Karen Millen, Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester, Leona Edmiston, Manning Cartell, Maticevski, Mathew Eager, Mc Q, Nicola Finetti, Nina Maya, T.L. Wood, Wayne Cooper, Yeojin Bae.

And did you know … all the models had their hair dyed with a temporary colour of brown and Jen was the only blonde on show!  Apparently we have a shortage of brunettes here in Australia and that means brunette is the hair colour of choice for Winter!   Via The Age

Kristen Stewart is on the front cover and inside Slovenian Eva Magazine’s April 2010 … and wow did you even recognise her ?  Even I’m not 100% sure it’s her but it is because there’s a pic of her and Robert Pattinson accompanying the article!

And doesn’t she look amazing, good to see she’s still holding onto her ‘brooding’ style, that’s her signature!  I absolutely love the styling they’ve done on her, she reminds me of Riley Keough a bit.

Gisele Bündchen is back fresh off of her big Vogue comeback yesterday, and today we see her fronting the Spring 2010 campaign for Brazilian label Colcci donning ripped jeans, flannel and prints, turning up the sexy dial in this denim romper, love it!! (FYI – as I’ve discovered Brazilian websites use lots of flash, therefore slow to load so patience is required).

I promise this blog is not going to be all about Gisele Bündchen, but she’s back and she’s such a glamboyant model, she’s Brazilian and she appears to genuinely use her status and money to help the earth and those less fortunate.  So let’s see how we go, if she’s deserving she’s deserving

I came across this beautiful fashion pictorial of Aussie model Pania Rose photographed by Michelle Holden.  I have absolutely no idea what it’s for or who the brands are, but it’s just such a pretty pictorial, very romantically feminine – I suspect it’s from a magazine photoshoot – Pania is a quiet Aussie model achiever.

Michelle Holden has a huge portfolio of photography work for Australian brands and magazines, her website is worth checking out.  If anyone knows anything about these images of Pania I would love to know.

Vanessa Paradis is on the cover of France’s Glamour magazine for their April 2010 issue and gets down inside for her fashion pictorial.  But what is most exciting to me inside is a fashion pictorial entitled “Kawaii” that is bursting with colour and the fun & girlieness that I love.

Kawaii which is Japanese for cute, loveable and adorable (everything this blog is about), has been on the trend radar for some time now.  This fashion pictorial features lots of ruffles (the new Daisy Lowe/Louis Vuitton Cosmic Bloom bag), short hems, preppy trenches and playful accessories beach-side in a heaven sent tropical destination!

Back to French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis, she’s set to team up with her real life love Johnny Depp on the big screen for the first time, who have been together for 12 years,starring  in a film called My American Love.

Finally, here she is, we’ve all been waiting for Gisele Bündchen to come back with a big bang and she does, looking very much her glamboyant Brazilian self on the front cover and inside of US Vogue’s April 2010 issue, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.

Gisele is busy being a new mum, saving forests and rivers and empowering troubled teens and launches her natural beauty line Sejaa Pure Skincare today.

Inside the 29-year-old Brazilian beauty shares:

On her son Benjamin Rein Brady with Tom Brady: “I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal. My husband said, ‘There’s no way we’re going to call him River.’ But my father’s name is Reinoldo, so it’s a homage to him. And it’s like water.”

On staying healthy during her pregnancy: “I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.”

Her brand new line of skincare, Sejaa Pure Skincare, is made of all-natural ingredients, “thoughtful” packaging, and recycled paper. To begin, the line will include three products: a day cream, night cream and a mud treatment, ranging in price from $56-70.

I delayed this post for a few days, Gwen took priority and we do see Heidi all the time, but nevertheless Heidi Klum looks stunning (as usual) on the cover and inside US Marie Claire’s April 2010 issue showing a dress made by Project Runway contestant Anthony Williams.

Inside Heidi poses for a simple black & white fashion pictorial photographed by Mark Abrahams.  As mentioned Heidi looks awesome particularly because this photoshoot was taken FIVE weeks AFTER childbirth.  But, as you will see from the video you can tell they have photoshopped Heidi in the pictorial and stretched her out a bit which is such a shame as she looks awesome as she is!
