Win Delta Goodrem’s Crystal Ball Gown being Auctioned for Charity

You can win one of Delta Goodrem’s beautiful ball gowns that was created for a one-off performance by the gifted singer. The stunning specially designed gown made of shot taffeta and french chantilly lace by Richard de Chazel in iridescent blubell colour dotted with thousands of Swarovski crystals and hundreds of hand-scorched taffeta petals.

The designer says he drew inspiration for the dress from Delta herself – “as she has a sylph-like presence and the gown has an ethereal quality.”

The gown is being auctioned on eBay to raise funds for the St Andrews War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane. Valued at $15,000, current bids are at around $1,825 and will end this Sunday 22nd August at 9.30pm.

Delta Goodrem: Forever New Spring/Summer Launch 2010

Last night Delta Goodrem was the VIP guest and entertainer at Forever New’s Spring/Summer 2010 Launch held at Ripponlea Mansion in Elsternwick, last night.

Looking radiant in white (very bride-like) wearing a dress from Forever New’s ‘Couture Collection’, Delta gave an intimate performance to 300 glamorous VIPs and Forever New staff before introducing the fashion parade which showcased all the must have trends for spring.

The three Forever New collections showcased on the catwalk included La Vie En Rose (in stores now), Floral Wonderland which is a more a retro inspired story, and Garden Party which is especially designed for the Spring racing season.

At the event Co-founder and Managing Director, Amanda Goenka, announced by the end of this year Forever New will have 100 stores nationally and internationally.

Guests on the night included Kimberley Davies, Alice Burdeau, Nick Bracks, Rhys Uhlich, Nat Hunter, Amber Renae and Tim Wheatley.

Sunsilk Launches Longer & Stronger

Last week I trotted down to The Moog Hotel in Bourke Street, Surry Hills with my friend Donny Galella … what a gem of a secret location, we didn’t want to leave … for Arc Factory’s Sunsilk Longer & Stronger new Shampoo & Conditioner launch fronted by Delta Goodrem! (this is not the ad campaign imagery, Delta will be doing a photoshoot in January).

We were wowed by some ‘Longer & Stronger‘ activities which involved a pool, four boys in their swimming trunks, and a very appreciative female audience looking down from above.

The Longer & Stronger Sunsilk range is aimed at the young and fun 20-somethings! According to Sunsilk, the secret to longer hair is forumulated in their new range with tiny particle technology that helps your hair grow to its maximum potential (remember that everyone has different lengths their own hair grows too). Sunsilk claims to be one of the first hair brands to say that its products will help promote hair growth by strengthening each strand.

The branding is really bright, young and fun and I think it will grab your attention on the supermarket shelf!

I was so excited to be teetering off with my friends Amanda and Donny to see the very talented Delta Goodrem at theLoft, King Street Wharf in Sydney earlier this week.

She was there to launch her latest Shampoo & Conditioner in collaboration with Sunsilk, unveil her ‘secret weapon’ Dale Dorning and show us a sneak peak at her new TV campaign and Live DVD . It was a full platter and was hosted by the adorable Lyndsey Rodrigues who I now claim as my new BFF, I luff her

To say that we were excited to be going to see Delta is a little bit of an understatement but we were cool, we weren’t going to let on but this media scrum weren’t as cool and collected as us!

Delta is renowned for her glamboyant tresses and Dale & Lyndsey walked us up the red carpet showcasing some of Delta’s favourite glamour moments. Minor embarrassing moment for Delta with too much fawning by Dale & Lyndsey saw her leave the stage and stand with us but it’s hard not to fawn over her. BTW – Delta was wearing a very feminine coral dress by Willow styled back with nude YSL heels.

We were also joined by the lovely Sam Brett, Amy Erbacher and Jaynie Seal all looking sexy in matching black & white outfits with Sam Brett’s hair always looking fantabolous glamboyant whenver I see her.

So back to Sunsilk we were there to hear about Sunsilk‘s new Moisture Therapy Damaged Hair Reconstruction Shampoo & Conditioner. They say it will reconstruct our hair’s surface from the first wash by wrapping it in a protective barrier strand by strand and nourish to rehydrate our hair, helping prevent further damage by targeting areas of damage filling in cracks and chips strand by strand and wraping our hair in a protective barrier to help prevent further damage.
